Southport Netball Club are currently looking for an enthusiastic Level 2 coach (or an aspiring Level 2 from Level 1) to join our team in coaching and managing the U14’s to U16s.

We have a determined and eager group of girls who are keen in developing their game and skills. Training takes place on a Monday evening from 6-8pm at Stanley High School in Southport.

As you may be aware England Netball has a Talent Pathway with the aim of developing athletes with the attributes to attain excellence. As part of this programme, Merseyside County Netball Association support Merseyside Academy in the talent pathway. Further information on the pathway can be found at www.englandnetball.co.uk The purpose of the academy programme is to provide performance-enhancing training for individuals, not squads.

We are currently looking for qualified Netball coaches at UKCC level 1 or level 2 who may be interested in delivering the programme in Merseyside. We are looking for coaches to support the head coaches and gain experience within a high level coaching environment. Merseyside also deliver a Development programme for players who are not successful at trials to further develop their skills. If you think you may be interested in any of these coaching positions please complete an expression of interest covering letter, detailing your experience and interest in joining the academy.
